GROUNDNUT

The legume crop, Arachis hypogaea, commonly known as peanut, groundnut, goober (US), pindar (US) or monkey nut (UK), is primarily cultivated for its edible seeds. It is grown extensively in tropical and subtropical regions worldwide and is categorized as a grain legume and an oil crop due to its high oil content.

Peanuts are a rich source of protein, fat, and various essential nutrients that are beneficial for overall health. Research suggests that they may also aid in weight loss and reduce the risk of heart disease.

Additionally, they are a great natural source of vitamins such as Biotin, Copper, Vitamin B3, Folate (also known as vitamin B9 or folic acid), Manganese, Vitamin E, Thiamine (also known as vitamin B1), Phosphorus, and Magnesium 2.
